Carol lives with her husband Michael on the Oregon north coast. An avid gardener, her studio opens into a walled garden, the source of inspiration for many paintings.

Born in Portland, Oregon, Carol earned her B.A. in painting from Scripps College and M.A.T. from Reed College.

Carol’s watercolors have been exhibited widely in juried, invitational and one-woman shows including the University of Oregon Health Sciences, Oregon State University, Stanford University and the Oregon Governor’s Office. Her work is represented in private, public and corporate collections including the City of Portland “Visual Chronicle”, Portland Art Museum Gilkey Collection, State of Oregon 1% for the Arts purchases, St. Louis University, Willamette University, Kaiser Hospital and Delta Airlines. Carol had long professional associations with some of the most respected galleries in Portland and Seattle. The paintings have been reproduced as book covers, illustrations, educational materials, event posters, an Oregon Symphony program cover, calendars, greeting cards, and once on the cover of Reader’s Digest Magazine.
